This week, Crouch Oak Family Practice in Addlestone, serving 17,000 patients, was invited to Number 10 Downing Street to share how they became one of the UK’s top-performing GPIP practices with leaders from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and NHS England.
Seeing the results of meaningful change is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
I had the privilege of supporting the practice on its journey. Their recognition at Number 10 is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when organisations empower their people, use key data to drive better decision-making, improve patient flows and workforce planning, and stay focused on delivering better outcomes.
As a former international sportsman and coach, I’ve always believed in the value of continuous improvement, discipline and teamwork. That mindset has shaped the way I work, and it’s why I’m passionate about helping teams perform at their best, overcome barriers and keep moving forward.
For me, this work has never been about processes alone; it’s about people. Helping teams navigate change, unlock potential, overcome barriers and create lasting improvement is where I do my best work.
